1. Thank you
Thanking others will always give you peace and solace. People around you will find it pleasing if you are grateful enough to thank them for being there for you.
2. Sorry
One never loses respect by apologizing. If you are at fault, a sorry (only if you actually mean it) can work wonders. Misunderstandings and issues can be solved by just one word.
3. Priorities
It is rightly said that priorities change with time. If you have an important meeting at the office for which you have to let go off a family dinner, you should not hesitate to do so. Alternately, when you are spending time with family, work should be kept aside.
4. Empathy
Are you self-centered? If yes, it is the time you should revert to empathy. Understanding people and relating to things with their perspective is equally important. One cannot live in isolation.
5. Learning from failure
Yes, failure is scary, but it should not put an end to your efforts. Start to learn from your failures and give a better kick next time. There is no point crying and sitting back.
6. Seeking a feedback
It is good to have confidence in yourself, but taking a feedback from people is something you must imply in your life. You never know whose feedback gives you a sudden click.
7. Sometimes a ‘No’ helps
Do not make it a habit to nod at every matter. If there is something you don’t agree to; learn to take a stand and say a ‘NO’ when you feel it is right to do so.
