Lenovo unveils Vibe S1 in India with dual front cameras

Lenovo is all fixed to unveil its new smartphone Vibe S1 in New Delhi on Monday. Likely to cost Rs 15,999, and is expected to go on sale via Amazon India from midnight.

The Vibe S1 comes with a 5-inch full HD IPS LCD screen with resolution of 1080 pixels and pixel density of 441 ppi powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 CPU, paired with 3GB RAM. The display and curved glass at the backside are covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect it from scratches. It has a 32 GB capacity internal storage and supports a microSD card which can be expandable up to 128 GB. It is furnished with 2,420 mAh non-removable battery and connectivity options such as dual-SIM 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.

The dazzling feature of this phone is the two front cameras which include a 8 Megapixel main front-facing shooter, capturing photos and a 2 Megapixel secondary front camera, capturing depth information. It is also provided with a 13 MP rear camera with true-tone dual-LED flash. And it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box with Lenovo’s Custom UI running atop.
